After living different parts of my life using different names, this journey will be no different. I am K - Just K. I'm not OK nor Special K, just K. RTW - Round The World. Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, been riding motorcycles since I was about 12 years old. Spent some time as a full time rock musician, never having more than ten bucks in me pocket - I got a degree in computers later in life. Computers as a living did not agree with me - I like life, so with a few twists and turns I ended up spending the last 28 years as a full time independent sound/light/staging and video technician working with some of the major festivals in the city, plus bands, some corporate, and other gigs. They say you'll never work another day in your life if you love what you do - this I lived.

The last decade was spent as the primary care person for my mother who developed dementia. I held her hand as she passed away Nov. 16 2022. Its time for me to leave. My experience uniquely qualifies me to do mad things.

Everywhere - Canada, east to Newfoundland, then west and north to the arctic ocean and Tuktoyaktuk = Alaska, the south down the west coast all the way to Baha through Mexico to Central America, where the real journey begins. Part One - will be a LOT of kilometers, shooting out systems, figuring out the pacing and getting this all to run well. In Central America the pace slows and will only be dictated by visas. Once Central is done, South America for the next three years or so- and then to South Africa - and for now, that's far enough. I do hope to cover the entire globe, if health and circumstances favor me.

The fun begins in less than 23 days. Now is all that exists. Every moment of your life is simply now. The future has not happened, and the past is created each time you remember, so gets reinterpreted each time...and memories change and fade - When is NOW
